St Ives

Beachspoke’s three St Ives holiday homes are surrounded by some of the most beautiful beaches in the south of England. The town is situated on one of the country’s warmest coastlines, courtesy of the Atlantic Gulf Stream, and two of its beaches - Porthmeor and Porthminster - were featured in TripAdvisor’s top 10 list of the country’s best coastal getaways.

Everything is on the doorstep of your St Ives holiday home

Our St Ives holiday cottages - Black Moon, Moon Shadow and Blue Moon - are in different parts of the town, but all are mere minutes from the beach. While St Ives originally made its name as a fishing village, the town is now most known for its unique artistic community. A number of internationally-recognised art galleries, as well as boutique exhibitions and art studios, are situated in the heart of St Ives, and only a quick wander from any of our holiday homes. Just a short stroll away from our holiday homes are St Ives’ most popular restaurants, including The Sloop Inn which, at over 700 years old, is the oldest pub in Cornwall. You’ll find all manner of dining options in St Ives to cater for all tastes - from local harbourside cafés to stylish bars.

Mousehole

A picturesque fishing village between Penzance and Land’s End best known for its scenic harbour, Mousehole is home to our romantic Harbour Moon holiday cottage.

Beautiful views from the window of your Mousehole cottage

Three miles from Penzance, rows of beautiful cottages stretch along Mousehole’s harbour. All of these holiday homes, including Harbour Moon, are close to the village’s distinctive local shops, galleries and restaurants. The singular clifftop views of Land’s End - England’s westernmost point - and the historic island of St Michael’s Mount are two of many unmissable landmarks just a short drive away from our Mousehole holiday cottages.

Spend your Christmas by Mousehole Harbour

If you choose to book our Mousehole holiday cottage in December, you will find yourself right in the thick of one of the most unique, magical festive celebrations in the country. Tom Bawcock’s Eve - a traditional pre-Christmas festival in honour of the local hero from the sixteenth century, who saved Mousehole from famine - takes place on the 23rd of December, and involves beautiful lights, carol singing and a local delicacy called Stargazy pie. This is a tradition not to be missed!
