Our picks for what to do, drink & eat upon the rolling hills
Food & Drink
Tried and tested on plenty of occasions, we’ve selected the only places we think are worth leaving the Cottage for.
A particular favourite is The Chequers Pub, just a stones throw from Yarrow and for any hardcore ale enthusiasts , we recommend a visit to Horton Nook Brewery. Housed in the original maltings the shop is open Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 4.30pm throughout the year, with two Brewery tours every day of the week, excluding Sundays. For some fine dining without the fuss head to The Old Butchers.
