Praa Sands

Local Area

Rumour has it that Praa covets the finest sand in Cornwall. This mile-long beach on the south coast is amok with sand dunes and shallow waters, AKA the perfect beachy playground for families with young children.

Home to Little Cottage, Praa Sands is extremely popular with surfers, has immediate access to the coastal footpath leading to the port of Porthleven and is lifeguarded throughout the summer.

One of Cornwall’s sandiest beaches, this is the spot to test out your sandcastle skills and an excellent base for the many interesting ares of South West Cornwall.
