Local Area
Where Yarrow Cottage hides, Churchill is a beautiful village centered around its charming pub and church. Just 3 miles from the market town of Chipping Norton, 5 miles from Stow-on-the-Wold and 10 miles from Burford, Churchill sits right in the center of the “golden triangle” of the Cotswolds.
The awesome Chequers pub at the centre of the village serves fantastic food, wines and beers, with a good dose of old school American country and folk music.
The hugely popular Daylesford organic farm shop and hay barn spa is a short five-minute drive away, we recommend guests head over for a morning to enjoy their fantastic brunch made with local produce and equally great spa. In Kingham, just a mile away you’ll find “The Wild Rabbit”, Daylesford’s newest venture, along with the Plough Inn, two of the best foodie stops you’ll find anywhere.
