Official Made in Cornwall will be holding their second annual Easter Fair on Lemon Quay from Wednesday 17th April to Saturday 20th April. With an abundant display of local and handcrafted Cornish goods, this is an amazing chance to discover the rich cultural and creative heritage of this inspiring part of the world.

With a diverse programme that includes concerts in classical, choral and orchestral music, all held within the intimate setting of St Endellion Church, this is a musical experience not to be missed. One of the highlights of the 2019 Festival will be a specially commissioned St Mark’s Passion by Oliver Tarney, long standing member of the Easter Festival with a fast developing reputation as a composer.

The renowned Sheep Show is another memorable day out for all of the family. With shearing demonstrations and entertaining commentary on each of the sheep, this annual event always captures the hearts of its visitors. Other activities include the opportunity to see the lambs in the Walled Garden and a themed trail.

For family fun, Compton Castle’s Easter Egg hunt is an exciting chance to discover this dramatic fortified manor house and garden in Paignton, Devon. You will travel back in time and go on a magical journey to learn about the birds and animals of medieval times, as well as hunting for Easter eggs that are hidden within the grounds of this historical location.

The glorious Rococo Garden will open its doors for a fun and lively Easter trail to solve the mystery of the missing Easter eggs. With spring in full bloom, the gardens will be bursting with new life and families will have the chance to discover many hidden treasures, such as the giant tree swing. The beautiful setting makes this the ideal spot to spend Easter weekend.

Daylesford’s 25-acre Market Garden will host a variety of family-friendly springtime activities, with delicious selection of food and drinks available for all to enjoy. A celebration of new life on the farm, you can meet the lambs and learn about their organic hens and chicks, as well as participate in creative activities such as egg decorating and floral crown making. There will also be Easter Egg Hunts throughout the day.
