PORTHMINSTER BEACH CAFE

With prime position on the beautiful sandy Porthminster beach, Porthminster Beach Cafe is as fit for a long boozy lunch in the sun as it is a romantic dinner in the main restaurant.

We adults are soon tucking into Moroccan flat bread with a vibrant rainbow of dips: red onion, sweet potato and olive tapenade. Then a beautifully arranged chef’s starter plate purrs into port, augmented by oysters with chorizo, onion and tomato sauce. It’s a wonderful selection.

MOOMAIDS ICE-CREAM PARLOUR

Local, luxury ice-cream, what more could you want?

Moomaids of Zennor draws inspiration from the old tale of a young cornishman who was lured into the sea by the beautiful mermaid of Zennor; we are certain you will be enticed by this ice-cream parlour. Their extensive and innovative choices of flavours from espresso martini, almond and cherry to their authentic ‘shipwreck’ mean that there is something for everyone.

They also serve hot drinks, homemade cakes and cream teas which you can enjoy on their sheltered balcony. It is the perfect place to end up in after a long walk or morning surf.
