SILCo. – St Ives Liquor Co. was founded in 2016 by the Thompson brothers Tim, Greg and Bertie. They strive to complement their homemade gin with local and seasonal produce to create an authentic brand that is close to their and our hearts.

Although they specialise in G&T’s, discernibly, The SILCo. Searoom is the perfect place to enjoy an evening cocktail or better still, dine at their harbourside gastrobar where they serve award winning, local Cornish cuisine.

This charming pub exceeds all expectations when it comes to the bar. The extensive beverage range includes the ‘legendary Tinners and Mermaid ales’. Their local offering includes award-winning wine from Polgoon, a vineyard in Penzance, crafted small-batch gin from the notorious distilleries Tarquins and Curious and, of course, ales and craft lagers from the likes of local brewers Cornish Crown and Bays.

They are keen of their whiskeys too, acknowledging ‘light, creamy easy-drinking Speysides through earthy Highlands to punchy Islays packed full of peat’.

We ensure that you will be able to find something to tickle your fancy at the Tinners.

There’s more than meets the eye with this café that hugs the beach of Portgwidden.

Serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner of a Mediterranean and Asian influence, the café boasts unspoilt views across the whole bay, right out to the Godrevy Lighthouse.

The wine list here, though relatively modest, is made up for in location. It is the ideal spot to relish in a refreshing sundowner as you watch the sun sink behind the Atlantic blue.
