Harbour Moon is a particularly special one-bedroom holiday cottage in the Cornish village of Mousehole. Sitting on the picturesque harbour, this perfectly positioned space is ideal for those seeking somewhere different, interesting and photogenic for a romantic break.
Downstairs, Harbour Moon’s open-plan kitchen and living area is fully equipped for a self-catered holiday by the sea. Here you are perfectly positioned to watch the world go by from the large comfortable sofa, or sit with a glass of wine in front of the wood burning stove.
Upstairs is an open-plan bedroom made particularly memorable thanks to the white wooden beamed double height ceiling. The bed’s unique headboard doubles as a room divider and dressing table with plenty of storage for clothes. Behind this is a generous walk-in shower and sink area with a beautiful hammered bronze basin. A super king-size custom made bed sits against a headboard inset with rows of rope and chain evocative of the harbour details outside.
Lie on your bed and watch the bobbing boats drift past the harbour wall and listen to the waves crashing against the sand as you sleep. Light will form an important part of your stay, particularly since part of the bedroom floor is made of glass, allowing for each ray of sunshine to beam inside.
Idyllic, romantic and reminiscent of a film set, Harbour Moon is an unrivalled rental cottage for a break by the sea.

There is a larger car park adjacent to the Old Coast Guard hotel about a 7 minute walk towards the edge of the village. Finally there is street-side parking on the road into Mousehole about a 15 minute walk from the house.
Even its name is evocative. Located in West Cornwall, Mousehole oozes seaside charm and, just a few miles from Penzance, this picture-perfect harbour has become synonymous with Cornish relaxation. Happily, the cottage is located right on the harbour, which means every attraction in the village is within walking distance of your front door.
