Figari is a spectacular villa in Greece that creatively weaves opulence and style into a rustic complex of local stone, palm trees, flowers and beautiful scenery. This Greek island haven is a sight to behold and an unforgettable summer escape.
Sleeping up to twenty people in eight bedrooms, Figari is best filled with your favourite people for a week of decadent fun in the sun. Spend your evenings dining around the large mosaic round table and your days reclining in the sun by the pool, what could be more idyllic?
Figari’s labyrinth-like layout is what makes it perfect for a large group who want to holiday together but retreat to their own private spaces. You enter onto a pretty courtyard where you’ll find two en-suite ‘outhouse’ style rooms that can sleep up to six between them. The courtyard also leads to the main house which is set across two floors.
Here the top floor has two double en suite rooms that are divided by a walkway that looks onto the large open-plan living area. On the ground floor is the master en-suite bedroom, living area and large fully equipped kitchen. In the basement are Figari’s utility and store rooms.
The main house opens onto a terrace area which has sofas, sun loungers and wicker chairs all facing a spectacular sea view. On the same level, is the large dining table shaded by sails. From here, steps lead you to the outdoor cottage style en-suite room, or ‘honeymoon’ suite with its own balcony area.
Below the terrace of the main house and facing the pool are three bedrooms that can sleep up to ten in two twin/doubles and one ‘dorm’ room. The pool itself is flanked by sun loungers and a spectacular moroccan daybed. Another eating area and outdoor kitchen can be found to the right of the pool. Steps from the villa lead down to a secret ‘love shack’ and a path down to the sea.
Swimming pool, air conditioning, WiFi, music system, Nespresso machine, BBQ, private sea access – jetty, washing machine, daily maid service, midweek linen change, private parking.

Figari is located upon the seafront of the northern tip of Zakynthos (Zante), the southernmost Greek island in the Ionian. The area has remained largely un-touristy due to its lack of beaches, but its rocky coastline is beautifully dramatic and the area is peaceful, laid-back and deeply charming.
How to get to Zakynthos
There are direct flights to the island from London, Manchester, Cardiff, Doncaster-Sheffield, Newcastle or Luton. International flights can either change at London or Athens. If you are island hopping in Greece, you can get a ferry to the port of Agios Nikolaos which is just a fifteen minute drive to Halcyon.

Food & Drink
There are some fantastic tavernas and restaurants, our favourites include a long leisurely lunch and Micro Nisi, dinner at Nico’s, cocktails at Sofia’s Mahogani Art Cafe among others.
Things To Do In Zakynthos
Down at the port of Agios Nikolaos you can book ferry trips to neighbouring islands and a boat trip to the famous shipwreck bay at Navagio beach. You can also view this famous site from above with a quick drive through the pretty town of volimes where locals sell honey infused with thyme and local wares included woven rugs and colourful ceramics. Slightly further down the island is the small town of Alykes which is great for picking up amenities. For those wanting to catch a glimpse of turtles, you can try your luck at Gerakas Bay in the south of the island.
