Ivy Cottage is the latest Cotswolds offering from Beachspoke – a newly remodelled, striking two bedroom cottage located in the heart of the pretty village of Long Compton. Ideal for a discerning group of four who are seeking a boutique retreat in the countryside, Ivy’s beautiful and stylish interior won’t disappoint.

Recently renovated from a humble countryside cottage, Ivy has been transformed into an uber cool escape with exposed wood, cleverly placed mirrors, contemporary furniture and bespoke touches set over two storeys. As a result you’ll discover one of the most interesting and luxurious boltholes for a holiday in the Cotswolds.

A carefully curated space that has maximised the cottage’s beautiful classic features and local honey-coloured stone, Ivy Cottage is seemingly modest on the outside, yet beyond the quaint blue front door you’ll discover an opulent open-plan dining and kitchen area to the left and a sumptuous and spacious living room to the right. An open-tread wooden staircase sits in the middle of the house and leads you upstairs to two elegant bedrooms.

The master bedroom has a super king size bed and a copper bath in the room as well as an en-suite bathroom with shower.  The second bedroom also has an en-suite shower room, and both have been built with beautiful attention to detail, as well as offering fluffy bathrobes and fine bed linens added to make your stay all the more luxurious.

Living Room: 3 seater sofa, 2 armchairs, large SMART TV on a moveable bracket, Sky Q with all sky sports movie channels, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Bluetooth Bose soundsystem, woodburner fireplace, dimmable lighting.

Kitchen & Dining Area: Dining table with 6 chairs, fully equipped kitchen, electric oven with 5 hobs, Nespresso machine with milk frother, washing/drying machine.

Master Bedroom: Super king size bed, goose feather down duvet, copper roll top bath, chest of drawers, storage baskets under the bed, hangers on the back of the door, large en-suite bathroom with rain shower, loo and sink.

Second Bedroom: King size bed, goose feather down duvet, large en-suite bathroom with large double headed rain shower, loo and sink.

Garden: Quaint garden at the back of the house.

Dogs: Whilst being a dog-friendly cottage, Ivy Cottage can only accept small-medium dogs for an additional £30.

General: Hive heating control, fibre broadband, strictly no smoking and unfortunately not suitable for a wheelchair. Unfortunately we don’t provide a cot or a highchair but the master bedroom can easily accommodate a travel cot. Check in is at 4.00pm and check out is at 10.00am.
